The Ledges Junior Golf

Junior golf activities at the Ledges represent one of the many great benefits of a Ledges membership.  Junior golf at the Ledges is comprised of two main activities, The Ledges Junior Golf Club and The Ledges PGA Junior League team. Through these activities, The Ledges is building a solid golf foundation in our juniors and preparing those who are interested for high level tournament golf. The growth of our Junior Golf Programs extends well beyond the boundaries of our course as golf inherently teaches life skills that our Juniors can draw on for the remainder of their lives.

There will be an LJGC informational / signup meeting for the 2016 LJGC on February 2nd at 6:00PM in the Ledges Ballroom, please plan to attend.

The Ledges Junior Golf Club (LJGC) is a great place for your Junior to be introduced to the game of golf and to continue improving their skills.  The LJGC is structured to meet the needs of beginner to accomplished golfers from age 5 to 18. Primary activities are broken down into educational, practice/lessons, casual golf, competitive golf, and family events. Juniors have structured weekly group lesson times which are designed based on individual skill levels, weekly organized golf outings, monthly major events designed for the whole family, and several educational seminars on various topics of interest to junior golf families. The Ledges PGA Junior League is part of the PGA Junior League program and has seen great success over the past few years. The PGA Junior League is a team event where players participate in 4 team 2-man scramble format tournaments against other clubs in the area. This is a low stress introduction to tournament golf with a “team” environment. Practices and tournaments are held throughout the summer months.
